The day after Thanksgiving, also known as the mega-shopping event, Black Friday, is almost here. People are gearing up for the shopping extravaganza with coffee, sales ads, and a game plan. If you’re planning to hit the stores for the mega sales, or if you just plan to hit the keyboard and cruise them on line, don’t forget about your pets. We’ve got the inside scoop and some helpful tips that will help you save on gifts for your furry friends this year.

On average, pet parents will spend around 30-60 dollars on their pets for the holidays, depending on their income. This means that many of you will be looking for amazing deals on pet products, treats, and more for your cat, dog, rabbit, ferret, or other pet in just a week or two. Though official Black Friday sales information hasn’t been released yet, PetSmart, PetCo, and other pet supply giants have already expressed a readiness for the holiday season:

Greg Seremetis, the VP of Marketing for PetCo, said that the pet retail giant is planning a “72-hour Black Friday Weekend Blowout” that promises to be a key shopping stop for consumers”.

In Atlanta, be sure to check out Highland Pet Supply and Uptown Pets.
