To Leila - The Baby |
We met Leila on a family trip to Miami. She was fun and friendly! She’d scratch outside the guest bedroom door to let us know she wanted in. She’d jump on the bed, as we were still sleeping, but if she felt any movement, she’d jump down. This would go on for several minutes- then we be fully awake. Leila was awesome! |
With love, aunt Carolina, Isaac and Ethan! |

To our Leila: Our girl Leila was born one week after our wedding but we got her in April 2005 with our wedding money. When we saw her, it was love at first site. Once she had been in our arms we never let her go.
She was with us through it all: from our first home in Florida to moving to Georgia. Leila had the best of everything. She got all the comforts we could give her and organic everything. We would work our vacations out to include her and always drove so she was right there with us.
Some of her favorite pastimes were chasing ducks to giving you “that look” so she can have her way. She would always follow Daddy when he was working in the gardens and be by Mommy’s side in the kitchen. And at bedtime be right there between us.
Leila led a beautiful and happy life. We will miss you baby girl. It hurts so bad but we will find each other again. Thank you for sending that hummingbird out of nowhere to let us know you’re okay. We will always love you! |
