Seamus
I wish I would have had the chance to know Seamus... but somehow I feel that he and Indy are already romping together..

Seamus - SHAYMUS
Seamus \se(a)-mus\ "he who supplants" (and he did!) "Shamus" is sometimes used as an American slang for a private detective (and this is so fitting). Grá, dílseacht agus cairdeas" (Love, loyalty, friendship) The best thing he gave - in loads.

To our Seamus:

He was on the top of the stair and yelped at me as only a 6 week old puppy can do. I said : "Take him back". He said: " Keep him tonight and then decide ..it's too late to take him back this late - they are closed". That night he slept on my chest - the rest is history. I loved him like a child. I will miss him until the day I die. He was named Seamus Cronnolly - by his Irish "Papa". He followed him around like a shadow. Tempermental, but loving...all he really ever wanted to do was be with us, with people. Holding him in my arms as he left this world was the hardest thing I have ever done; even harder than letting people go...but I was crying and he put his paw on my chest and looked at me as if to say...let me go Mom. How is it they know? How is it they communicate unconditional love to us even as they lay in pain and dying? I love you Seamie. I will miss you more than words can say.
