Thank you for your response and kind words. I am so glad I reached out for comfort about loosing my pet but I had no idea that others could experience to same level of grief that I have, and I know now that I am not alone. I am thankful that there are people like you who have devoted themselves to the care of our furbabies. May God have a special place in his heart for you and your staff. Teresa Christian

To our Lucky Dawg:

In loving memory of Lucky Dawg Hite Her name was Lucky, however it was I that was lucky! Lucky had a rough start in life. She arrived in my friend’s yard with a broken leg, a bb in her head and no owner. Jennette took care of Lucky’s broken leg through surgery and helped her recover. Jennette asked if I wanted Lucky and eventually I adopted her. Lucky was my protector and best friend. She is the epitome of unconditional love. We traveled the east coast and went camping. She loved to go to the beach. She will always make me smile! On her last night on earth we celebrated her life with a big steak dinner. The doctors and staff of Loving Hands took excellent care of her through health, illness, and passing. On July 17, 2011, Lucky peacefully went to heaven to be with her Grandfather, sister Brewski, and to be reunited with her sister Star, and friends Blondie, Sheena, and Schatzi. She is sadly missed by her Dad, Mom, and sister Tweek.
