Thank you for your response and kind words. I am so glad I reached out for comfort about loosing my pet but I had no idea that others could experience to same level of grief that I have, and I know now that I am not alone. I am thankful that there are people like you who have devoted themselves to the care of our furbabies. May God have a special place in his heart for you and your staff. Teresa Christian

Love Notes for Jessy Brown:

Add a Love Note
Jessy was the luckies dog I know,to be choosen by Patti and Bruce. She may have had a hard start in live, but she ended her life being a pamper princess. Jessy had a great life on earth, thanks to her Mom and Dad.Now she is running and playing like a pup with Anne and Joe. I know you miss her so.
Great Aunt Jan
Love for a special grand dog
Jessy loved life and all the treats that a grandparent could give her, behind her mom and dad's back. Jessy was a special friend and is truly missed.
With love, Carolyn Hamrick
Jessy was lucky to have had such great humans in her life. I know you loved her dearly and she will be missed. So sorry for your loss.

To our Jessy Brown:

Jessy Brown July 1996 – February 22, 2012 We called Jessy our Caribbean Dingo because she was a rescue from the Caribbean island of St. Kitts. Her rescuer brought her home to Georgia and searched for a good home for her. About a year before we met Jessy, we lost our first dog Annie, who was also a rescue, after over 15 years of loyalty and love. Our boy dog, Joe, was lonely and looking for another girl dog to boss him around. When we first met Jessy, she barked incessantly and lunged at Joe. We thought she was not the dog for us. At her rescuer’s coaxing, we agreed to another meeting. This time things went better and Jessy came to live with us. She was quite a sight. Rope burns around her neck from being tied up with ski rope, bug bitten ears, thin as a rail, and completely wild. She came to live with us in the middle of a hot muggy Georgia summer. We honestly thought trying to get her to walk on a leash was going to be the end of us. No walking for Jessy. She would rather be dragged than be walked. With time, Jessy became socialized. She was an independant spirit that graced our lives for over 14 years. We were honored to have her in our lives. She brought us joy and happiness, along with a few heart stopping moments. Like the time she decided to jump out of the second story window to join her Dad who was outside. In June of 2010, Jessy was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. We tried one round of chemo therapy. Jessy did not respond well to the treatment. So then we decided to go with a holistic approach with Chinese herbal medicine and a homemade diet. We were lucky because Jessy felt good enough to stay with us 15 months longer than the doctor’s thought she would. We miss her dearly. Deceased Pet Care took care of Jessy as well as our first dog Annie and our second dog Joe. It is wonderful that an organization exists that truly understands the bond between a person and their beloved animal. Deceased Pet Care allowed us to pay our proper respects to our loved ones.
