To our Kelsie:

Kelsie was our rescue Beagle. We found her online 13 years ago. I don't know what the first couple years of her life was like, but I can guess it was full of neglect since BB's were found under her skin upon xray. The last 13 years she lived a life of leisure with our other Beagle Cody. They were spoiled rotten and loved beyond belief. Kelsie was a master food finder. She once broke into our suitcase on a trip and ate an ENTIRE BAG of Greenies. She loved those things. There were so many food moments with her. Trash can raids. Breaking into my Mother in law's closet and eating all the Easter Candy. Climbing up onto our kitchen table and counters the very second she saw us leave the room! She was one of a kind. She was also the sweetest dog and stayed the calmest at the VET of any dog they had ever seen. But upon occasion, her jealous streak would come out. If she caught us loving on the other Beagle, she would come over and take her head and shove our hands off of him and onto her. She loved to be loved on! Alas, age had finally caught up with our sweet girl and we had to let her go last Friday. Kelsie, Mommy loves and misses you everyday. Run fast and free with Cody. We miss you both. Always ....
