I have used Deceased Pet Care twice in recent years. They are so helpful and respectful. It is difficult to lose a pet and even harder to turn them over to strangers. I found that family owned really means something to the Shugarts. They treat pet owners like family.

El baile del perrito :)
I could write days about my many memories of Smash, but I don't have that much space. I loved when he lived with me in JSU, AL for a semester. He was the best dog to have around. Always there, playful and loud.. He was a joy to come back home to. He was also great with kids. He would let any little kid play with him w/o ever getting mad. Smash was just a different kind of dog, and everybody that spent 5 mins with him knew that. I love you Smash, you will never be really gone from this world. :'(
See you on the other side - R2
Smash was an amazing dog. He was well traveled and went with us everywhere =) He always wanted to be pet and hugged and you couldn't resist. His bark sounded like a 300 lb dog and it was funny when you encountered a very low to the ground puppy with floppy ears. He might be gone but the memory of him doing tricks and hitting every object with his tails will always be with us. We miss and love you Smashulo!
With love, The Searls
He will be missed.
Smash was a great doggy. I always thought to myself "Any day now, Smash's stomach is going to touch the ground and we will not be able to walk!" Lol. I remember when I took care of him when you guys went on vacation! I think I was too lenient with him because when I gave him back he was climbing on your furniture! Lol. I will remember him and will always miss his bark as I come up your steps and ring your door bell. Rest in peace Smash.
you will have a special place in our hearts, Juan
We are so lucky... Having Smash in our lives was a gift... We won't be sorry but happy for the time spent with him... Now he is playing in peace in another place... Smash, you won't be forgotten! You will live in our hearts for ever!
With love, Maigua & Alex
I'll miss you, Smash
Smash was the first basset hound I ever met. His barking sounded giant and scary from the other side of the door, but he was really very sweet and always hilarious. Smash had so much personality- definitely the best dog ever. Everyone who met him loved him; I know I did. Jay and Jacky, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm convinced Smash is chasing easy-to-catch cheeseburgers over the rainbow now.
With love, Missy
