Your kindness and compassion this past Thursday are more appreciated than words can express. Your understanding regarding the love and affinity one has for Yorkshire Terriers was a great comfort to us. We are so blessed to have had Wensley's love and presence in our lives. We are deeply grateful to you for the sympathy and heartfelt kindness you have extended.

To our Shelby:

My sweet little Shelby was my precious little boy! I had lost my cocker spaniel , Wizard, about 13 years ago and after several months of grieving knew that I could not be without a dog so I started looking and telling myself I would know the dog when I saw it and that is exactly what happened. I saw his picture at a Petsmart and went immediately there to see him. The picture was like "ET" in the closet with all the stuffed animals trying to hide. Shelby's head was so big for his little 2lb body that I didn't know how he held it up. I took my husband back the next day and we ended up coming home with 2 from the litter instead of 1. They were named GT and Shelby. We like mustangs so we were trying to come up with names around that. Poor Shelby was always being called a girl but we didn't care. He was our little boy. He always had some health issues with his stomach and kidney disease/high blood pressure in his later years. His kidneys finally gave out and we had to let him go. We are all devastated but knew that it was time. I feel bad for his brother GT too...he just kind of wanders around the house so we are trying to give him lots of extra attention. They were always together. Shelby...mommy, daddy and GT miss you terribly!
